How to Upload Your DNA File
These instructions apply to genomics reports ordered through Your Genes by Design. Use this page when you already have your raw DNA file and are ready to submit it securely.
1. Download Your Raw DNA File
Download your DNA data directly from your testing company:
23andMe
Settings → Access Your Data → Download Raw Data
(File downloads as a .zip — upload the .zip exactly as downloaded.)
AncestryDNA
Account Settings → DNA Data → Download Raw DNA Data
(File downloads as a .txt — upload the .txt exactly as received.)
There is no need to rename, extract, or modify the file.
Upload it in its original format.
2. Upload Your File Securely
Use the secure Dropbox File Request link below to upload your DNA file:

No Dropbox account is required.
The link does not expire, so you can upload whenever your file is ready.
After uploading, you will see an on-screen confirmation message.
3. What Happens Next
A confirmation email will be sent once your file has been received.
If the file is incomplete or unreadable, you will be contacted before your report is created.
Reports are typically delivered within 14 days after your raw DNA data file has been received.
4. Data Protection
Your DNA file is encrypted during upload, processed securely, and handled according to the Genetic Data Privacy & Disclaimer.
